As part of TfGM’s commitment to be open and transparent with the residents of Greater Manchester, we have committed to voluntarily comply with the Local Government Transparency Code 2015.

The data is published on our page on the data.gov.uk website, where you will also find other open data we make available.

Other data required for publication but not included in the data.gov.uk pages includes:

  • Invitations to tender – available regionally via The Chest, the North West’s Local Authority Procurement Portal
  • Social housing assets – not applicable to TfGM as we do not own any social housing stock
  • Parking account – not applicable to TfGM as we do not charge for any of our parking spaces
  • Government procurement cards – not applicable to TfGM as we do not use Government

Concessionary Travel Scheme

Transport for Greater Manchester is responsible for administering the Concessionary Travel Schemes established by Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) pursuant to the Transport Act 2000 and the Transport Act 1985.

The current travel concession reimbursement arrangements are detailed in the Transport Act 2000 Reimbursement Arrangements and the 1985 Act Concessionary Scheme.
