We're in the festive spirit and on track for another successful year of fundraising after our staff raised more than £13,000 for charity.

Since 2016 our in-house charity committee has worked tirelessly to raise money for Greater Manchester-based branches of Alzheimer's Society and MacMillan Cancer Support.

We've built on last year's success by organising a variety of fundraising activities ranging from bake sales, a ‘Triple Tram Challenge’ (where Metrolink's Chris Holmes travelled across three tram systems, in three cities, all in one day!) to an ‘Auction of Skills’. Colleagues offered their skills and expertise in an array of areas including culinary experiences, horse riding, personal training sessions, reflexology, wine tasting and guitar lessons, to name just a few.

Marking the halfway point of a two-year association, we held a ‘Fantastically Festive Fundraiser’ at our head office in Manchester city centre last Friday to mark the end of another incredibly successful year of charity work.
