How do I plan my trip

Which ticket shall I buy?

Rail tickets are cheaper after 9.30am on weekdays and all day on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Tickets are available from staffed stations or ticket machines, otherwise pay on the train. If you are going to Manchester then your rail ticket allows you to use Metrolink trams free in the city centre.
