English National Concessionary Travel Pass

The TfGM pass which entitles you to free travel in Greater Manchester maybe about to expire.

You do not need to do anything about renewing your pass until you receive your formal notification in the post.

TfGM has a record of the expiry date on your pass and will send you the renewal details you need 4 weeks before that date. The letter will let you know what you need to do next. You need take no action until you receive that letter.

I have not recieved my renewal notification in the post yet. What do I need to do?

Renewal notifications are being sent in the post six weeks before passes expire. This letter will contain all the information and the renewal code you need. You need take no action until you receive that letter.

What should I do before my new pass arrives?

You can continue to use your current pass until it expires. When you get your new pass please destroy the old one.

Can I renew my pass in person?

Yes, but you can only renew your pass if you have your personal renewal code. Your renewal code will be sent to you in the post six weeks before your pass expires. You need take no action until you receive this code. Along with your code, there will be details of how you can renew your pass on the phone, online or in person. If you have your renewal code, you can renew online here

How long will it take to get my pass?

Your replacement pass should take no more than two weeks to arrive after you have applied, but you should apply as soon as possible after you receive your notification letter and renewal code. You need take no action until you receive this notification.

Is there a charge for my replacement pass?

No, your replacement pass is free.

 

When will my spouse/partner get a form to replace their pass?

We will write to all pass holders before their pass expires.

My travel pass has been lost or destroyed?

If you want to renew by phone, internet or in person, you will need the number from your current pass; therefore if you do not currently have a pass, you can only renew using the form that will be sent with your renewal notification.
