01 March 2016: One hundred and seven pupils from St Gabriel’s Catholic Primary School and Bedford High School helped create the new woodland when they donned wellies and gloves to take part in the mass planting at Collier’s Wood in Tyldesley. Read more here.

5 October 2015: Leigh’s new-look bus station and cycle hub has opened after work finished on a £1m project to transform public transport facilities in the town. The station is a key part of the bus priority package as a terminus for guided busway services. Read more here.
24 September 2015: Oxford Road is gearing up to Go-Dutch As part of an investment to revolutionise travel along Oxford Road, Greater Manchester’s first ever “Dutch-style” bus stop and cycle lane has been revealed. Read more here.
