Consultation and public events
Where proposals have not already been agreed, there will be community consultations to get the views of residents and businesses on how the proposals will be implemented in their area – all of whom will receive advanced notification if any work or consultation is to be undertaken nearby.
We are also working with Manchester City Council, Rochdale Council, Salford City Council and Wigan Council to ensure that all residents, businesses and stakeholders are kept up to date on the plans. Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), which represents each of the 10 local authorities in Greater Manchester, and bus operators are also working in partnership with TfGM on the plans.
Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) and Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council are consulting on the proposals for Manchester New Road between Monday 25 March 2013 and Friday 26 April 2013. You can speak to TfGM and Rochdale Metropolitan Borough Council by attending our public event during the consultation period:
Tuesday 16 April, 2pm - 7pm
Middleton Bus Station, Manchester New Road, Middleton, M24 1DE
If you would like to share your views on the proposals, please get in touch:
