​Greater Manchester Quality Bus Partnership

We want anyone who chooses to take the bus to have a standard of service they can count on.

To help set that standard, Transport for Greater Manchester has worked with the bus companies to draw up a code of conduct.

Known as the Greater Manchester Quality Bus Partnership, the code of conduct covers areas that we know are important to you.

They include:

  • punctuality

  • reliability

  • regularity of services

  • cleanliness of buses

  • driver attitude and behaviour

  • ensuring last journeys run

  • customer service

Signing up to the code is voluntary and bus companies who sign up must be able to show they meet the standards set out in it.

Arriva, First and Stagecoach and several smaller companies have already confirmed they will become partners.

You can tell if the company running your bus service has signed up by looking out for the logo onboard.
