The South Manchester, Altrincham, and Eccles Metrolink lines will be closed all day on Sunday 14 October for essential engineering work related to the expansion of the network.

Tram services on the Bury and Oldham lines will operate to Victoria.

Replacement bus services will be provided for passengers between:

• St Werburgh’s Road and Piccadilly (via Victoria)
• Altrincham and Victoria (via Piccadilly and Piccadilly Gardens)
• Eccles and Piccadilly (via Trafford Bar)

The bus services will call at all stops on each line except Pomona, Market Street and Mosley Street. Passengers wishing to change lines should do so at Trafford Bar.

Normal tram services will resume from the start of service on Monday 15 October.​
