​A new transport interchange for Wythenshawe

Transport for Greater Manchester is proposing to relocate the bus station in Wythenshawe from its current site to a brand new site off Poundswick Lane, next to Wythenshawe Forum. By sharing this site with one of Wythenshawe's new tram stops for the Metrolink extension to Manchester Airport it will create a new transport interchange. When built, Wythenshawe will have a modern and safe interchange providing excellent public transport connections for residents and visitors. The new interchange and the release of land occupied by the existing bus station on Rowlandsway will maximise opportunities for regeneration within the town centre.

Responses to the public consultation held between 22 February and 26 March are now being analysed and we'll update this area of the website when that's been completed.
